Hey all!
As you can tell by the title of this tournament, we will be trying a new system! 🥳
❗ Your account must have 200 matches or more registered in order to be able to compete, or be well-known to the tournament crew.
How does Kings Valley work?
We will have a qualification phase consisting of 3 rounds in order for the Kings Valley concept to work. After the qualification phase, the players will be placed in the next round of the order that they came in the qualification; i.e. 1st - 8th = Room A, 9th - 16th = Room B, 17th - 24th = Room C, so on so on.
Then top 4 from Room A stays in Room A for the next round, and bottom 4 from Room A goes to Room B in the next round. Same principle applies for other rooms. Top 4 from Room B will go to Room A in the next round, and bottom 4 from Room B will go to Room C.
May or may not be 4 players moving, depending on how the schedule will work.
Is this normal FFA with new system?
No, this is not another normal FFA tour. There will be 2-3 combos that players can choose from the options for that specific round *i.e. Round 1 could have Stealth Mine + Thick, Jump + Brake, Multi-shot + 180*. Players will have to choose one of these three combos to play with for Round 1.
We will be announcing the combos that will be used in this tournament closer to the date.
There will be different combos for each round (some combos could be played twice if the combo is randomized again into another round).

⏳ Late signups will be put in reserves and cannot be guaranteed a spot in the tournament.
Attendance confirmation deadline: Saturday,. June 15, 2024, 19:45 PM CEST (Amsterdam) // 18:45 PM BST (London) // 13:45 PM EDT (New York)
⏳ Players failing to confirm their attendance in time will be replaced by reserve players. Attendance can be checked on Discord or through a form at the top of this page.
The schedule will be posted at the top of this page and on our Discord server 30 minutes before the tournament starts.

Timing
Be on time. A host may delay the match for 3 minutes from the start time. Afterwards you are out.
Game
No compensation for bugs or lag and no rematches, unless all parties agree to a rematch.
Cheating is forbidden in tournaments; any sign of players using third party software, playing on someone else’s accounts, teaming with other players to ambush some other player, intentionally feeding, etc, will not be tolerated". - This rule is not perfect, therefore any claims regarding this rule will have it discussed appropriately and fairly by the tour crew in every case.
Intentionally hindering or helping another player at the sacrifice of your own game is not permitted and hindering other’s performance/experience in any way i.e. seen focusing/targeting a specific player at an obvious sight will be counted as not abiding by this rule. Failure to abide by this will result from a ban from next tournament hosted, regardless the mode.
The moderators will review each case one by one thoroughly in all fairness. Moderators have authority to make any decision necessary in relation to this rule and other rules/situations deemed worthy of review. Once a decision is made, it’s final, and by signing up for this tournament, you agree to respect moderators decision in any of these situations.
If you find a decision unfair or worthy of review, approach the tournament crew privately in DM. Those who decide to discuss it publicly will receive a warning to discontinue the conversation and go to DMs, and if unheeded they will be dealt with an appropriate punishment.
Players who are banned from tournaments or game are not permitted to play in the tournament with an alternative account. Fail to abide by this rule will and can result in harsher punishments.
Any toxicity that is extreme or brought up by any player to a tour crew / helper has a chance to have it reviewed fairly, and if it is deemed toxic, will lead to disqualification and no prizes rewarded for the tournament.
The ‘Finals’ password must not be shared to anyone and only affiliated members are allowed (Tour Host, Mods, Social Media Managers). As for other tournament matches, anyone is allowed to spectate, however, if there are signs of toxicity, harassment, etc, from spectators, a moderator should be contacted to deal with the situation. If there are unavailable mods to help out, you may kick the spectator causing the hassle.
Results
Winner posts the match results in the curve fever discord #tournament-results. - This can be done either with a screenshot or by typing !lastmatch <username> where username is your username.
Potential Tie-breaker rules will be indicated in the left-side column of the Schedule sheet. If the Tie-breaker rules cannot be applied, a coin toss will be performed by a Tournament host on Discord to settle the case.

The organization, being official staff, have the last word when it comes to decisions.
